Pre-vetted plumbing leads. No bidding wars.

GRP Chicago is a closed network of nine experienced Chicago plumbing pros. Homeowners come to us for DIY help; the jobs they can't (or shouldn't) DIY get routed to you — not auctioned to fifteen competitors.

How the pro side works

Three moving parts. That's it.

1. Leads come in

Chicago homeowners hit our library, submit jobs, or book a virtual session. The ones that need a pro on-site become leads.

2. We pre-vet them

We confirm scope, address, and intent before passing it along. No tire-kickers. No 'just shopping price' calls.

3. You ballpark & close

Lead drops into your member inbox. You ballpark it, schedule, and bill the homeowner directly. We never touch the invoice.

What it costs

Three separate charges, each with one job. You pay nothing for an inquiry that goes nowhere. On March 1, your costs go down and become easier to forecast.

Per-lead co-op charge

$90/job lead

Paid only when a GRP lead becomes paid work. It replenishes the marketing pool that brings in the next job.

  • No charge for an inquiry that goes nowhere
  • Exclusive lead — not sold to competing pros
  • Paid before your next lead is released
  • Rate and 3:1 ratio reviewed quarterly
Closed-job fee

$75/job won

A temporary bridge charge through February 28, 2027, only on jobs you complete and get paid for.

  • You pay when you earn — never before
  • Flat $75, not a percentage of your ticket
  • Bigger tickets are never penalized
  • Ends March 1, 2027
Monthly seat

$0/mo until Mar 1, 2027

The $350/month seat fee is suspended until lead guarantees activate. On March 1, it becomes the predictable monthly base and the $75 closed-job fee goes away.

  • Locked-in seat (no auction)
  • Featured listing on homeowner pages
  • Nothing charged for the seat before Mar 1, 2027
  • Costs drop and become easier to forecast on Mar 1

GRP screens about 36 weekly inquiries into 12 qualified, price-accepted jobs before routing them: Primary gets 6, Secondary gets 4, and GOG gets 2. There is no second close-rate cut. Today, a GOG pro receiving 8 jobs in four weeks pays $720 in per-lead co-op charges + $600 in closed-job fees = $1,320 — and no seat fee. On March 1, 2027, the $350 seat begins, the temporary $75 fee ends, and the GOG cost drops to $1,070 at the same volume.

Why only 9 seats

Real territory

Nine pros across Chicago means each seat owns meaningful coverage. Not a lottery.

Quality stays high

We vet you so we can vouch for you to homeowners. One bad seat poisons the well.

Chicago-only

We're not a national platform with a Chicago tab. We're built here, for here.

How the co-op is structured

Three roles per service area. A 12-lead weekly pool. A built-in safety valve for the jobs that wear you down.

Gog · 2 leads/wk

Guy on the Ground

GRP-A representative. Schedule intentionally kept open to step in on opt-outs and overflow. Territory is lightly marketed by design.

Primary · 6 leads/wk

Primary Member

The largest allotment in the rotation. First call on most weekly leads in the assigned territory.

Secondary · 4 leads/wk

Secondary Member

Steady second-position allotment. Leads beyond the 12-job pool continue through the rotation under the same co-op charge.

What we need from you

GRP Chicago is a marketplace, not a contractor. You operate as an independent business. By accepting leads you confirm — under your own attestation — that you carry every license, permit, bond, and insurance policy required for the work you take on.

You self-attest to all required Illinois licensing for the work you accept
General liability insurance ($1M min) — you carry it, you provide proof on request
Servicing Chicago metro
Background check clearance
Responsive within 4 business hours
Willingness to honor your ballpark pricing

Marketplace disclaimer

GRP Chicago does not perform plumbing work, does not employ pros, and is not a party to the contract between you and the homeowner. Pros who upload license & insurance documents receive a "Verified" badge visible to homeowners. Homeowners are shown a disclosure that some Illinois plumbing work requires a licensed plumber and are directed to verify credentials before hiring. Misrepresentation of license status is grounds for immediate removal.
