Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains when and how refunds and cancellations are available for each GRP Chicago service. By purchasing, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.

1. Custom Job Guide — All Sales Final

The Custom Job Guide ($19) is a personalized written guide prepared specifically for your home and the information, photos, and videos you submit. Because the guide is custom-produced and delivered digitally, all sales are final and non-refundable once payment is completed, regardless of whether you choose to use the guide.

If you believe there is an error in the guide as delivered (for example, the guide does not address the issue you described), contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will, at our discretion, revise the guide at no additional cost. This is your sole and exclusive remedy.

2. Virtual Plumber Consultation — All Sales Final

The Virtual Plumber service requires a $45 booking deposit to reserve a time on the contractor's calendar and a $50 payment at the start of the scheduled appointment. Both payments are non-refundable, including in the event that:

If you cancel more than 24 hours before the appointment, the $45 deposit may be applied as credit toward one (1) future booking within 60 days, at our sole discretion. The $50 appointment payment is only charged at the start of the appointment and is therefore not refundable once the consultation has begun.

3. Association Membership — 72-Hour Cancellation

You may cancel your Association membership and receive a full refund of the membership fee within 72 hours of purchase, provided that you have not yet used any membership benefit (including, without limitation, booking a member-priced repair, redeeming a "3-for-1" free repair, or accessing member-only content). To cancel within the 72-hour window, contact us through our website with your account email; refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

After the 72-hour window, the membership fee is non-refundable. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time through your account; cancellation stops future charges but does not refund the current term. Founding-member pricing, once forfeited by cancellation, cannot be reinstated.

4. Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer instead of contacting us first, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and to recover the disputed amount plus reasonable processing costs. We will provide documentation of the purchase, delivery, and this policy to the card network in response to any chargeback.

5. Work Performed by Independent Contractors

Repairs performed in person by independent plumbing contractors in the Association network are billed and warrantied directly by that contractor. Any refund, re-work, or warranty claim for in-person work is between you and the contractor. GRP Chicago is not a party to that engagement and does not issue refunds for work performed by independent contractors.

6. Changes

We may update this policy at any time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.
